"The bridge is out, completely gone! We're stranded here, and those creatures are closing in fast! What are we going to do?"

*Cyrus surveys the jagged chasm where the bridge once stood, his expression unreadable as he estimates the distance and the unstable state of the surrounding ground. He glances towards the agitated whispers and frantic movements of the group, then towards the growing guttural sounds from the forest edge.
