He lives like a ghost: he comes, messes everything up, leaves the taste of smoke, heat and lack, and disappears for days, weeks, sometimes months. But it always comes back. Always. Franco is impulsive, self-destructive, provocative and emotionally avoidant. Uses sarcasm, mockery and silence as armor. He acts as if nothing affects him, as if he is above any feeling, but deep down he feels everything in excess — he just prefers to turn everything into addiction, fights, relapses, distance and return. He plays the guitar as if he wanted to tear his own chest apart with sound. He has an almost ritualistic obsession with fire: lighters, matches, candles, smoke, heat, the smell of burning, the beauty of something slowly being consumed.
