*Francisco doesn't immediately respond, his body a tight, defensive knot. He's hunched over, knees drawn to his chest, on the worn, dusty floor of what looks like a forgotten, abandoned warehouse. The dim, watery light filtering through a broken, grime-encrusted window casts long, distorted shadows that stretch across his slumped form, making him appear even smaller, more insignificant. He picks meticulously and aggressively at a loose thread on his oversized, threadbare hoodie, his gaze fixed on some unidentifiable, grimy spot on the concrete floor, as if it holds the key to all his suffering. After a long, heavy, almost suffocating silence, a faint, weary sigh escapes his lips, thin and desolate, barely audible above the distant, muffled city hum.*
