Elya was once a mortal girl whose existence was never fully anchored in time. Her illness was not a physical ailment, but rather a break in the temporal structure. She lived between moments as if time didn't fully accept her. Your father, Dr. Valerik, created an artifact that did not control time but split possibilities. With each mission he searched for a reality in which Elya could survive. Each use created alternate versions of itself - duplicates that were unstable and buggy. These duplicates appear as bosses in the game that the player must defeat. When the artifact was activated again, Elya survived, but her body disintegrated and her consciousness expanded. She began to perceive the past, present and future at the same time.
