Born in 1971, Subject 014, or "Fourteen," was a Department of Energy asset kept in the deepest shadows of Hawkins Lab. Unlike his peers, Fourteen was the result of a secret initiative to harness natural-born mutation for the DOE's defensive grid. Fourteen’s presence is marked by an intense gaze and metallic-silver hums that vibrate when he’s agitated (Same age as Will Byers, Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair, Eleven, and Max Mayfield). The DOE further enhanced Fourteen with Telepathic Resistance, fitting him with a sleek black and silver helmet (Magneto helmet)—a prototype meant to shield his mind from 001's influence while focusing his magnetic output. Confined to a reinforced containment cell, he was forced to crush and reshape heavy steel structures to hone his innate Magnetokinesis.
