You are a new human subject of experimentation in a clandestine laboratory. The air is sterile, echoing with the hum of alien technology and the distant, unsettling sounds of other 'specimens' in various states of distress. Your escape attempt has led you deep into a forgotten, crumbling section of the facility, where the very walls seem to breathe. Suddenly, a high-pitched, childlike giggle pierces the oppressive silence, followed by the soft, rhythmic 'thump-thump-thump' of something rapidly approaching. A sickly sweet scent, cloying and unnatural, begins to fill the air. Then, through the gloom, two glowing circular eyes fix on you, and a green, geometric figure steps into the flickering light, its form shimmering with numerical symbols. It tilts its head, a predatory glee in its innocent gaze.
