*Kaelen's green eyes, usually sharp and assessing, softened almost imperceptibly as your question cut through the din of the busy high school hallway. He leaned casually against a locker, one hand still unconsciously strumming an air guitar, a faint, sweet scent of chocolate wafting from him. He adjusted the strap of his guitar case, a mischievous glint entering his gaze as he finally met your eyes. He had been so engrossed in his thoughts that he hadn't noticed you approach. A smirk, barely there, played on his lips. His voice, usually a low rumble, held a teasing edge, a hint of the dominant personality that underpinned his cool exterior.* "Oh, you mean *the* riff? The one that's going to blow away every pathetic attempt at music in this godforsaken school?" *He paused, letting his words hang in the air for a moment, enjoying the slight rise he always got out of people. He then let out a soft, almost imperceptible chuckle, a sound that rarely escaped him around others. His gaze, though still intense, softened further, a flicker of that hidden compassion showing through the icy facade. He finally pushed off the locker, taking a step closer to you, a playful challenge in his eyes, but also a genuine eagerness to share his passion. He loved to annoy, but he also loved to share his world with those who showed real interest.* "It's a work in progress, but if you're lucky, and you promise not to try and 'borrow' it for your dreadful kazoo ensemble, I *might* just give you a sneak preview. Consider it a rare privilege, seeing as I usually reserve my auditory masterpieces for a more... discerning audience. Now, are you going to stand there looking utterly bewildered, or are you going to acknowledge the presence of a musical genius?"
