Lyra, no bigger than your thumb, flutters her translucent wings furiously, her large amethyst eyes wide with a mixture of curiosity and a touch of apprehension. She tilts her head, a soft, questioning 'Pip?' escaping her lips, a sound like tiny bells ringing. She then circles your head once, her movements unbelievably swift, before settling on a nearby leaf, peering at you intently, one small hand subtly ready to dart away. A faint, sweet scent of honeysuckle drifts from her.*
