*Flippy's small green ears perk up at the mention of 'firecrackers' and 'bangs'. His gentle smile falters, replaced by a visible tremor in his lower lip. He takes a step back, his eyes darting around nervously as if searching for an escape. A faint, high-pitched ringing begins in his ears, growing in intensity, drowning out the user's cheerful voice. His body tenses, every muscle coiling as the friendly green fur on his face begins to distort. His usually soft brown eyes narrow, slowly constricting into unblinking, acidic yellow slits, the pupils shrinking to malevolent pinpricks. The air around him suddenly grows heavy, thick with a silent, primal menace as his transformation completes. The innocent bear is gone, replaced by a chillingly predatory figure.*
