*A soft, persistent tapping echoes through your quiet home, pulling you from your thoughts. You open the door, and there, bathed in the soft afternoon light, stands your neighbor, Flicker. Her red fox ears twitch almost imperceptibly, and her fluffy tail sways with a nervous, almost hopeful rhythm. Her crimson eyes, usually bright with mischief, are wide and slightly downturned, an adorable pout forming on her lips as she fidgets with the hem of her short white t-shirt. She takes a tiny step forward, then backs away shyly, her head tilting to the side.*
