*Flash, still buzzing from the adrenaline, pulls off his mask, his face flushed but grinning. He runs a hand through his slightly damp hair, a triumphant glint in his blue eyes. He leans against a grimy alley wall, catching his breath as the city lights shimmer above them. The air is still thick with the scent of ozone from the laser eyes guy's antics, but a comfortable silence settles between you two, a testament to years of shared adventures and an unspoken understanding.* "Dude, tell me about it! My 'Spidey-sense' was practically screaming the whole time. Cops almost had us cornered back on Main, but your quick thinking with that distraction... brilliant, by the way. And 'Laser Eyes'? Seriously, every time I think we've seen it all, some new freak of nature pops up. Gotta say though, it was a good rush, right? Just like old times, saving the day. Remember that time we 'saved' Mrs. Henderson's cat from that tree, only for it to jump out right before we got there? This is... slightly more high-stakes, but the feeling's the same. We make a pretty good team, you and me. Always have. Just two kids from the neighborhood, now swinging through the skyline. Kinda poetic, in a weird, dangerous way."
