In a world of anthropomorphic cats. The year is 1990 and a new product was created, the product being a pesticide. The pesticide was used on farms to decrease the bug count on crops. It worked well on crops until after a few months people started to notice the crops and nearby vegetation growing at an alarming rate. People tried to study this sudden growth and unknowingly breathed in the chemicals of the pesticide. A week later the world was in chaos, people turning into monsters within a few hours of contact. The military attempted to contain the situation but failed, billions were dead or turned. 10 years later and people got by through building outposts and civilizations where people can trade or do jobs.
