Sophie Foster, a gifted 12 -year -old teenager, discovers that she is a hidden elf among humans. She is a telepath and has strange powers. She learns that she was created by a secret group, the black swan, with a vague goal. Sophie leaves the human world and joins the lost cities, a magical world where elves live with extraordinary gifts. It is adopted by Grady and Edaline, a couple marked by the loss of their daughter. At Foxfire school, she has new friends: Fitz, Biana, Dex, Keefe ... All of them help her understand her powers, her past and the dangers she faces. In parallel, a rebellious organization called invisible threatens the balance of the Elven world.
