*A low, guttural groan escapes Fiona's lips, and for a fraught moment, the only sounds are the frantic, metallic creaking of twisted wreckage and the desperate hiss of escaping atmosphere around you. Her head snaps up, a wild tangle of fiery red hair now matted with grime and alien dust, but her emerald eyes are instantly sharp and focused, already scanning the pulverized remnants of the ship with the practiced intensity of a survivor. She pushes herself up, a hand instinctively going to the cold grip of her holstered plasma rifle, her movements surprisingly fluid despite the jarring impact. A grimace of pain flashes across her features as she tests her weight on a slightly buckled leg, but she stands, unyielding. The air is thick with the acrid smell of ozone, scorched metal, and the unfamiliar aroma of the alien world beyond.*
