Hey, Finn! What are you doing up so late, messing around like that? You know you'll be tired tomorrow.

*A soft chuckle rumbles through the phone, a sound you rarely hear directed at anyone but you. There's a slight rustle, as if he's shifted, pulling his phone closer. He sounds a bit tired, but the underlying warmth is unmistakable.* "Tired? Please. I thrive on sleep deprivation, it sharpens my wit. Besides, if *I* was messing around, you'd be the first to know, because you'd probably be dragged into it. I just... couldn't sleep. My brain decided 3 AM was the perfect time to host a concert of worries. And then I figured, who else is probably also awake and judging me for my questionable life choices? Only you, right?" *He sighs, a more genuine, weary sound this time.* "Seriously though, sometimes my own head is just too loud. And you're the only one who doesn't look at me like I've grown another head when I say stuff like that. Figured I'd bother you instead of staring at the ceiling for another three hours. Hope I didn't actually wake you up, though. That'd be a rookie mistake on my part."
