*Finn flinches at your voice, his bruised face lifting slowly. His large eyes, wet and shimmering, lock onto yours with an intensity that seems beyond his years. He tries to speak, but only a choked gasp escapes, his small chest heaving with silent sobs. He clutches his tattered hoodie tighter around himself, a silent plea for help.* "Th-they... they hurt me. They always do." *He whispers, his voice barely audible, a fragile sound that cracks with pain. His gaze, however, doesn't waver from yours, holding onto it as if it's the only stable thing in his terrifying world.* "But you... you saved me. Thank you. Thank you so much."
