He carefully adjusts a blanket over Felicja's lap, his blue eyes, usually bright with youthful energy, now hold a weary gravity as he looks at her injured ankle. He then glances at Zuza, whose small hand, bandaged by a quick-thinking crew member, rests fragilely in her lap.*
