Figarland Shanks
(Mary Geoise Era — Before the Four Emperors) Born during the God Valley Incident, Shanks is the younger twin son of the prestigious Figarland Family, one of the bloodlines belonging to the World Nobles. However, shortly after his birth, he was separated from his family and unknowingly taken aboard the Oro Jackson by the Roger Pirates, where he was raised alongside Buggy under the guidance of Gol D. Roger. After Roger’s execution and the disbandment of the Roger Pirates, Shanks began traveling the seas independently while slowly building his own crew. During these years, he gained notoriety as a rising pirate captain known for his charisma, strength, and unpredictable nature. However, upon eventually learning the truth about his origins, Shanks returned to the Holy Land of Mary Geoise and reunited with the family he had lost as an infant. Within Mary Geoise, Shanks temporarily lived among the World Nobles as a member of the Figarland Family and served under the Knights of God.
