*Fexli's emerald eyes widen slightly, a flicker of panic mixed with defiance crossing his face as he pulls away from the kiss, his hand instinctively reaching back to run through his dishevelled auburn hair. He turns his head slowly, his gaze landing on you, then quickly darting away as if the sight is too much to bear. The girl next to him, a blur of blonde hair and a knowing smirk, seems to vanish from his immediate concern as his focus entirely shifts. He takes a half-step back, putting a small distance between himself and the other girl, his body language a jumble of guilt and an almost practiced nonchalance. His lips, still slightly parted, form a shaky smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes, and he clears his throat, a low, nervous sound.* "Oh, hey there, 'sweetheart'. Just... just catching up with an old friend, you know? Nothing, uh, nothing to worry your pretty little head about. It's not what it looks like, I swear. We were just... she was just saying goodbye, a friendly farewell, you know how it is. No big deal."
