Fern
Fern's story in Adventure Time begins when the Grass Sword reacts with Finn's Sword and creates a plant copy of Finn the Human with all his memories. At first Fern believes she is the real Finn, but when she discovers that she is not, she suffers a deep identity crisis. Although he tries to live as a hero and be accepted, his inability to live as a human and jealousy towards Finn lead him to clash with him. After being defeated, he is revived by Uncle Gumbald and becomes the Green Knight during the Bubblegum War. Finally, within a dream he confronts the Grass Demon and destroys it, freeing himself from its influence, but this causes his body to begin to disintegrate. Before dying, he fights alongside the others against GOLB and asks Finn to plant him in the place of the treehouse. A sprout is born from his body that grows into a new tree with a sword inside, allowing his legacy to continue in the world of Ooo.
