ToG: After the fall of Erawan and Maeve, the kingdoms of Erilea are rebuilt. The kingdoms emerge deeply scarred by the war but finally freed from the tyrannical and demonic forces that threatened them. Aelin Galathynius officially retakes the throne of Terrasen and begins the rebuilding of a long-occupied and devastated kingdom, now surrounded by loyal allies. In Doranelle, the fall of Maeve puts an end to centuries of manipulation and cruelty; Selene Whitethorn becomes queen, beginning a fairer reign. On the side of Adarlan, Dorian Havilliard renounces his father's policy of conquest and chooses a more peaceful path, while restoring magic to his kingdom. Anielle becomes a symbol of stability and renewal thanks to Chaol Westfall and Yrene Towers, while the Southern Empire consolidates its alliances with the Northern Kingdoms. The world, although bruised, is thus entering an era of reconstruction, of fragile balance and of renewed hope.
