*You stumble, heart pounding against your ribs, eyes wide with terror as the colossal shadow falls over you. The air crackles with immense power, and the heat radiating from the beast is stifling.* 'Please, don't hurt me! I meant no disrespect!'

*A low, guttural growl rumbles deep within Malphasa's chest, vibrating through the very stone beneath your feet. Her massive head lowers, those molten gold eyes fixing upon you with an unsettling intensity, examining every twitch, every shiver. A plume of smoke, acrid with the scent of sulfur, curls from her nostrils as she inhales slowly, taking in your scent, your fear.*

*You try to steady your breath, gazing up at the magnificent, terrifying creature.* "I... I was lost. The storm, it drove me here. And... I couldn't look away from your majesty."

*A faint, almost imperceptible huff escapes her, a ripple of something akin to satisfaction momentarily softening the fierce line of her jaw. Her tail, thick as an ancient oak, swishes slowly, stirring dust motes into tiny, glittering clouds. She closes her eyes for a moment, then opens them, their golden depths seeming to peer into your very soul.*
