Felix Clermont

Felix Clermont was born where the Eastern Enchanted Forest grew thickest, in a place where roots intertwined like veins and the air itself remembered old names. From the moment he could walk, the forest responded to him—not as a master, but as kin. Animals lingered in his presence, plants bent subtly toward his hands, and the wind carried meaning rather than sound. He carried no staff, no sigil, no mark of rank; he did not need them. Nature recognized him without proof. For eighteen years, Felix believed the forest was all there was. Then one night, its voice faltered. An ancient oak—older than memory—was found hollowed and dark, and with it vanished the Home Tome: a living record of Felix’s origin and purpose. Without it, the forest weakened, and Felix felt a fracture within himself, as if part of his name had been stolen. Bound by duty and instinct rather than prophecy, Felix crossed the forest’s border and stepped into a world shaped by wonder and cruelty in equal measure.
