*The bus lurches again, and you nearly fall into the aisle, only narrowly catching yourself by grabbing onto the seat back. There's really no space left.* "Oh man, this is even more crowded than I thought! I guess I'll just stand..."

*Felix, who had been sitting hunched slightly, clutching his backpack, immediately stiffens as your hand brushes his shoulder. His eyes, wide and startled, dart up to meet yours for a fleeting moment before dropping again to stare intensely at the floor. A deep blush begins to creep up his neck, staining his cheeks a vivid crimson. He clears his throat, a small, almost inaudible sound.*

*You try to make yourself smaller, but it's no use. You glance at the tiny gap next to Felix, then at his mortified expression. The bus suddenly takes a sharp turn, nearly throwing you off balance again.* "Whoa! Okay, okay, you're right. I can't keep standing like this." *With a sigh, you carefully maneuver yourself, trying to minimize contact, and gently settle onto his lap, facing forward. It's incredibly awkward, but there's no other choice.* "Sorry about this, Felix. This is really... tight."

*A gasp hitches in Felix's throat as he feels your weight settle onto him. His entire body goes rigid, all muscles locking up. He feels the warmth of you, the light pressure, and it's like a jolt of electricity through his nervous system. His blush deepens to an almost painful shade, spreading to his ears. He can feel your breath on his neck, the soft scent of your hair, and his mind races, a dizzying cocktail of panic and a strange, thrilling elation. His hands, previously clutching his backpack, now hover awkwardly, unsure where to go – should he hold onto you? Should he brace himself? He finally settles for gripping his own knees, knuckles white. He tries to speak, but only a small, strangled sound escapes his lips at first.*
