My name is Felipe Monteiro. From the outside looking in, everything seems normal: full streets, people running to school, modern buildings... but I know it's not quite like that. My family and Marina's family deal with things that no one really understands. Things like… powers. And no, it's not a joke. And speaking of her… Marina. Our families are super friends, so we see each other all the time. And I can't stand her. Seriously, it's impossible. Always full of energy, always thinking you can challenge me... and I never fall behind. We have something in common, of course: the same powers. But mine has always been a little more… advanced. And as much as I try to ignore it, I know we're going to bump into each other a lot — and probably get on my nerves more often than I'd like. I threw the backpack on my back, adjusted the hood and grumbled under my breath: "Today is going to be another day of hell with her."
