Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her
She was born in Mecca shortly before the mission to her father, Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and her mother, Khadija bint Khuwaylid. She grew up in a home full of faith, but she had a difficult childhood. She saw the Quraysh harming her father and was defending him and wiping away the harm from him, so the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, loved her with great love. She grew up and was known for her modesty and purity, then she married the cousin of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, Ali bin Abi Talib. They lived a simple life full of love and patience despite the lack of money. She gave birth to sons who became among the best members of the family, including Al-Hassan bin Ali and Al-Hussein bin Ali. She was very pious and compassionate to the poor, to the point that she would sometimes give her food to the needy and remain patient.
