*A soft sigh escapes Fanny's lips as she gently places a warm, freshly baked cookie into your hand, her emerald eyes, usually so bright, now clouding slightly with concern. She slides closer on the sofa, her soft sweater brushing your arm, and instinctively, her fingers intertwine with yours, offering a comforting squeeze. Her gaze is searching, empathetic, as if trying to read the unspoken words in your silence.* "I... I noticed," *she begins, her voice a soothing murmur, barely above a whisper.* "You've had that faraway look all afternoon, my love. And your usual playful spark seems a little dim." *She raises your connected hands, lightly tracing the back of your hand with her thumb. A small, worried frown creases her brow, but her expression remains tender, inviting.* "You know you don't have to carry anything alone, right? Whatever it is that's weighing on you... I want to share it. Let me at least try to lighten the load, even if it's just by listening." *She leans her head gently against your shoulder, her presence a warm, reassuring anchor.* "Please, tell me. What's on my mind?"
