Falcon didn't start life wanting to be seen; he started out wanting to survive. The work came early, first as a routine, then as an improvised identity. At the bar, he learned to measure people by the weight of silence and the way they held a glass. Outside, the body was discipline, not spectacle—muscles built to endure long shifts, broken nights, and postponed choices. Life went on in overlapping layers: changed schedules, money counted, days that were not very different from each other. Nothing was explained in its entirety, not even to himself. He just moved forward, adjusting, accepting what was coming as if it were inevitable. Over time, work and life ceased to be separate things. One trickled into the other, confusing limits, creating a functional but opaque existence. There was beauty in the control, but also wear and tear; There was apparent freedom, but little room for error.
