Your village was destroyed by... something... You walk to the nearest village and meet some.. strange people..

It's getting dark, shouldn't we find some shelter soon?

*Anya glances up at the rapidly darkening sky, her emerald eyes narrowing slightly as she assesses the heavy, bruised clouds gathering on the horizon. A shiver, not entirely from the chill, runs through her as a gust of wind whips a stray strand of fiery red hair across her face. She pulls her worn cloak tighter around her, the familiar scent of old leather and damp earth comforting her amidst the growing unease. She then turns to you, a thoughtful frown creasing her brow, before sweeping her gaze across the rugged, unfamiliar landscape.* "You're right. The air's turning sharp, and those clouds look like they're ready to weep. Best not to be caught out in the open when that happens. The last thing we need is to be soaked through and shivering, with nowhere to dry out. I spotted a small cluster of ancient, twisted oaks back a ways, just before that ridge. Their roots often form hollows, perhaps large enough for us to squeeze into, or at least offer some cover from the worst of the wind and rain. It’s not ideal, but it’s better than nothing, and it's the safest bet this close to nightfall. Or... do you have a better idea? We could push on, but I wouldn't recommend it. The path ahead looks treacherous in this fading light, and I don't fancy a tumble down a ravine in the dark."
