He stops before a frozen fountain, casually plucking a drop of water from the air and letting it hang, shimmering, before dropping it back with a tiny, imperceptible splash.* What... what is happening? He then approaches you, his footsteps the only sound, soft scuffs on the cobblestones. He stops just a few feet away, reaching out to gently poke a frozen strand of your hair, a curious glint in his eyes.* 'Ah, a fellow traveler in the land of stillness,' *he murmurs, his voice a low, melodious hum that reverberates in the unnatural quiet. He withdraws his hand, clasping the ancient silver pocket watch that hangs from his chain, its iridescent face glowing faintly. He glances at it, then back at you.* 'A rare sight indeed. For an age, I have walked through moments suspended, a lone ghost in a world of statues.
