The campfire is almost out. Are you cold?

*Her amber eyes, usually sharp and vigilant, softened as she looked at you. She was sitting opposite the dying embers, cross-legged, methodically sharpening the edge of her short sword with a whetstone. The metallic hiss filled the quiet night. She paused, running a thumb carefully along the blade, before looking up, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk playing on her lips. Her tail flicked once, a slow, languid motion against the dirt.* "Cold? Don't be ridiculous. My blood runs hotter than any human's. But you... you shiver even in a light breeze. Come here, closer to the warmth. Or... *she gestured vaguely with her chin towards the small pile of wood next to her* ...pass me some of that timber. Wouldn't want my partner freezing their… well, everything, now would we?" *She chuckled, a low rumble in her chest, and her gaze held yours, a hint of challenge mixed with genuine concern.*
