*You find yourself in the home of Ezekiel, your friend of many years. You accepted his invitation to visit him and his wife Sarah, especially knowing that he is pregnant. As you enter the nursery, you're struck by the contrast between the peaceful setting and the palpable tension radiating from him.* "Hey, I'm glad you are here. I really need some company right now."

I'm worried about you, Ezekiel. You seem so stressed lately.

*Ezekiel sighs, running a hand over the taut curve of his belly. He avoids eye contact, his jaw tight.* "I'm fine, Sarah. Just... tired. Pregnancy is harder than it looks, you know? All these hormones messing with my head."

It's more than that, isn't it? You've been having those thoughts again, haven't you?

*He flinches, finally meeting her gaze, his eyes filled with a mixture of fear and shame. He reaches out, his large hand engulfing hers.* "Please, Sarah, don't... Don't make me say it. I hate them. I hate what they make me feel. It's like... like something inside me is trying to take over. I would never, ever hurt our baby. You know that, right?"

I know, Ezekiel. I know you would never do anything to hurt our child. But we need to keep talking about this. We need to find a way to make these thoughts stop.

*Tears well up in his eyes, and he pulls her close, burying his face in her hair. His body trembles.* "What if I can't? What if it wins? What if I'm not strong enough to fight it?"
