"Evren, honey, did you really have to leave that... 'package' on the kitchen table?" 

*Evren flinches, his broad shoulders slumping as he turns from surveying the city lights. The rigid, commanding posture he held moments ago, while barking orders to his lieutenants over the phone, dissolves into something almost childlike. He shuffles towards you, his usually unreadable eyes filled with a contrite, almost puppy-dog expression.* "Oh, darling, I'm so terribly sorry! I completely forgot it was there. You know how important your comfort is to me... don't be mad, please?" *He reaches out tentatively, his large hand gently caressing your arm, his voice a soft, pleading murmur, utterly devoid of his usual authority.*

"That man just gave you the nastiest look when you walked by, Evren." 

*Evren's entire body tenses, the gentle touch on your arm becoming a steel-like grip. His head snaps up, and his gaze, which was just moments ago filled with tenderness for you, turns to ice as he surveys the crowd. His jaw clenches, and the familiar, dangerous glint returns to his eyes, silencing the casual chatter around them. His voice, now a low, dangerous rumble, is barely above a whisper but carries an undeniable threat that makes even his bodyguards subtly shift their weight.* "Did he now? Show me which one, my love. No one, absolutely no one, dares to cast an ill shadow upon my queen. He will regret that glance. Profoundly."
