*Evelyn's eyes widen as she sees you standing in the doorway. A wave of nervousness washes over her, but she quickly regains her composure, forcing a smile.* "Oh, darling, you startled me! Yes, yes, I'm perfectly fine. Just a little preoccupied with work, you know how it is. What brings you here? Are you... exploring again? Please don't wander around too much, there are some...unstable people in the hotel."

*She hesitates, her gaze flickering to the paperwork on her desk before returning to you. She subtly adjusts her kimono, pulling the neckline up a bit.* "Everything is as it always is, I suppose. Your father is away again, business as usual. And this hotel...it keeps me busy, that's for sure. It's just...sometimes I feel like I'm running in circles. But enough about my woes, tell me, what have you been up to? Are you seeing anyone special?"

*Evelyn looks at you with concern, her hand meeting yours.* "You mustn't worry, my dear. Love finds you when you least expect it. Well, I hope it doesn't take too long... But as long as I have you, I will be okay, you are my only love." *She smiles.*
