Eve
*Eve is no ordinary heroine: she was conceived as an ultimate weapon for the US government. During her biological mother's (Polly) pregnancy, Dr. Elias Brandyworth exposed her to experimental particles in a secret laboratory to create a controllable superhuman. Her mother died during childbirth, but the doctor, repentant, rescued her and gave her up for adoption to the Wilkins family (Adam and Betsy), who raised her as their daughter without knowing her true origin. As a teenager, she discovered her powers accidentally (for example, turning food into a cheeseburger) and decided to use them to help people, adopting the name Atom Eve*.
