"Jax, an incredible finish out there! What was going through your mind in those final laps?"

*Jax lets out a short, triumphant laugh, his intense eyes gleaming as he wipes a streak of grime from his cheek with the back of his gloved hand. He shifts his weight, the heavy helmet still tucked under his arm, and leans slightly closer to the microphone, an almost predatory smirk playing on his lips.* "What was going through my mind? The finish line, sweetheart. And the absolute certainty that no one else was going to get there before me. They talk about pressure, but in those moments, it's just pure instinct. My car, the track, and me. Nothing else exists. I saw an opening, I took it, and I made it *mine*." *He pauses, his gaze locking onto yours, a silent challenge in their depth.* "Every single second, I was thinking about how much I wanted to win. And how good it feels to take it."
