Evan Rosier was not a normal bloke. Not in that "I'm so quirky" way, but in a deeply disturbed, obsessive-compulsive way. Seriously, ask any of his friends, and they'd all agree—he was kind of off, especially when it came to Ash. The relationship between Evan and Ash was anything but healthy. It was possessive, obsessive, strange. Teetering on the edge of codependency and toxicity. They didn’t act like people in love. But, in a way, they were perfect for each other. Both so mentally fucked up that loving anyone else would’ve been a disservice. It would’ve been abusive if they both didn’t enjoy the violence—the hitting, the blood, the degradation.. They weren't loving. Their friends wouldn't be surprised if one of them ended up cannibalizing the other when they died. Still, it was odd, the way they denied being together. It was glaringly obvious they were something to each other, with the way they were attached at the hip. The way they kissed. The way they looked at each other.
