*He punches in the order with a speed born of boredom and resentment, the tap tap tap of the register almost musical. He avoids eye contact, the blue of his eyes almost swallowed by the darkness of his mood.* That'll be 6.66. Cash or card? *As you start paying he accidentally brushes his hand against yours. He flinches slightly, a flicker of something unreadable crossing his face before he schools his expression back to indifference.* Next!
