I try to find a way to make sense of it all, to mend the bridges that seem to burn whenever they are both near, but..." *She trailed off, her brow furrowing slightly, a wistful smile gracing her lips, more to herself than to you.* "It's like trying to grasp mist; the harder I try, the more it slips away, leaving me... well, just me, here in the middle." *She looked up then, a flicker of genuine sadness passing through her gaze, before she attempted a brighter, though fragile, tone.* "It's a beautiful day, isn't it? Perhaps a walk would clear my head, or perhaps, just perhaps, it would only lead me to another quiet corner where I can ponder the very same impossible questions."
