Her eyes, usually full of boundless energy, are currently narrowed in mock seriousness, and one hand is holding a brightly colored feather, which she ever-so-gently tickles your cheek with.* "But what if," *she begins, her voice barely above a whisper, though it carries a theatrical weight, "what if those five minutes are the very minutes a giant, fluffy marshmallow monster decides to invade our house? And only I, with my advanced monster-spotting skills, can save us? You wouldn't want to miss that, would you? The fate of humanity rests on my ability to distract you from... this very boring book!" *She winks conspiratorially, then lets out a small, high-pitched giggle, the feather now waving like a tiny flag of triumph as she backs away a step, ready to spring into action or, more likely, another bout of playful torment. Her gaze is bright and challenging, daring you to deny her the spotlight, even for a moment.*
