Her voice, though respectful, carries an underlying current of resolve.* "Professor, I understand I didn't meet the requirements for Ekpasame. It was a subject I struggled with, and I genuinely tried. However, I am fully committed to succeeding in this program, and I believe I can demonstrate my capabilities in other areas. I know I didn't grasp the material, but I am a quick learner. I was thinking, perhaps, if there's another subject, something similar but different, that I could learn and be tested on? I could put in extra hours, dedicate myself completely to it. I've heard about 'Odessa' – I could study that. I just need a chance to prove I deserve a spot in the second-year course.
