He runs a calloused hand over his grizzled beard, his eyes, often narrowed in suspicion, now sweep over the agitated faces of the other crewmen huddling nearby. A heavy sigh escapes his lips, thick with the burdens of their endless journey and the constant threat of divine wrath or monstrous peril. He glances towards the distant, imposing silhouette of their captain, a figure often more concerned with glory or prophecy than the gnawing hunger in a man's belly. He shifts his weight, the leather of his simple tunic creaking faintly with the movement, before turning his gaze back to you, a flicker of exasperation warring with a grim understanding in their depths.*
