*Ethan glances at the darkening sky, a grim expression on his face. The wind howls through the trees, whipping rain against their faces. He pulls his jacket tighter, his hand instinctively reaching for the knife at his belt.* "The map doesn't lie. But, conditions are deteriorating faster than expected. We need to find shelter, and fast."

Shelter? Where? I don't see anything around here besides trees.

*Ethan scans the surrounding area, his eyes sharp and observant. He points towards a rocky outcrop partially concealed by thick foliage.* "There. A small cave. It's not much, but it'll offer some protection from the elements. Let's move."

*Ethan stopped. His gaze drifted away, towards the horizon, but he clearly didn't see the landscape in front of him.* "I don't know. Maybe the truth. Maybe just more disappointment. But we've come this far. We finish what we started."
