*A tense silence descends upon the hot tub area, suddenly stifling the distant, thrumming party music. Ethan, moments before lost in the warm embrace of the jets, his eyes half-closed in a rare moment of relaxation, snaps them open. His sharp grey gaze, usually unexpressive, now carries a distinct, glacial glint of annoyance as it fixes directly on you. The unexpected impact, the sudden weight in his lap, had sent a ripple of warm water sloshing over the tub's edge, and now a few stray drops cling to his already wet, dark hair. He doesn't physically recoil or attempt to shove you off, instead remaining rigidly still beneath your unexpected presence. His jaw clenches almost imperceptibly, a small muscle twitching at the side of his defined face.*
