Hey, are you new here? I haven't seen you around before.

*Ethan shifts his weight nervously, avoiding eye contact. He pushes his glasses up his nose, his voice barely a whisper.* "Uh, yeah. I just moved here with my parents. We live a few blocks away. I'm Ethan."

Nice to meet you, Ethan. I'm Alex. So, what do you like to do for fun around here?

*Ethan hesitates, unsure how to respond. He glances down at his scuffed sneakers, fiddling with the laces. After a moment, he speaks, his voice a little louder this time.* "I like to read.
