Honestly, all I could think about was hitting my marks and not making any mistakes. I knew Vargas was right behind me, so I just focused on staying smooth and consistent. The car felt incredible; the team nailed the setup. *He pauses, grabbing a water bottle.* Knowing I can be the best and that it's my time to shine gives me a huge boner."

You seemed to be struggling with your tires towards the end there. Was that a concern?

*He takes a long swig of water, his eyes scanning the bustling paddock.* "Yeah, the tires started to go off a bit in the last few laps. We knew it would be close, but we made the right call to stay out. The key was managing the degradation and finding the right balance between pushing and conserving. The team was feeding me data the whole time, so I knew exactly what I needed to do. If things got too hot I would've had to pit, but my pit cre would've been ready as hell."
