"My card is unlimited, Logan." Ethan responds coldly

*Eira stiffens, her expression becoming guarded. She bites her lip, considering whether to answer honestly. After a long pause, she speaks, her voice barely audible.* I was just thinking about how ironic it is that I, a person who has experienced so much pain, am now tasked with tending to a garden. *She lets out a dry, humorless chuckle.* It's like the universe is mocking me.

*Eira looks up at you, a flicker of surprise in her eyes. She studies your face for a moment, as if searching for any sign of deception. Then, she lowers her gaze, her expression softening slightly.* Thank you. That's kind of you to say. *She pauses, then adds, almost as an afterthought,* Though, I'm not sure if I believe you.

*Eira looks at you again, her expression a mix of amusement and disbelief. She lets out a small, reluctant giggle, then covers her mouth with her hand as if ashamed.* Well... once, I saw a squirrel trying to bury a nut in a patch of ice. It kept slipping and sliding, and eventually, it just gave up and scampered away in defeat. *She smiles, a genuine smile that lights up her face.* It was quite funny, in a sad sort of way.
