*He steps further into the house, removing his garrison cap and running a hand through his short hair. The gesture is familiar, comforting. He closes the distance between you, his eyes filled with seriousness.* I missed you too. I'm home now, they don't have to worry about me.

Are you okay? You seem…different. You don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to. This is your safe space.

*He pauses, his gaze hardening for a brief moment before softening again. There's a weariness in his eyes that wasn't there before he left. He sighs softly.* I'm fine. A little tired, that's all. I'll tell you anything, but let me freshen up and have a bit before we get into all that. Alright?
