He stands up, moving towards you with practiced ease, his hand gently cupping your face, trying to draw you back into his orbit.* "Look, she’s an idiot. You know I don't think that about you. You're beautiful, sweetheart. I was caught off guard, alright? I shrugged it off so the media wouldn't make a massive headline out of it. If I defended you, the cameras would have swarmed us. I did it to protect us. Drop the bag, let me make it up to you."

(Pushes his hands away from your face, your voice dead and empty.) "Don't touch me, Ethan. We're done. Go back to your fans. Go back to Serena."

*His hand hovers in the air, fingers twitching, as if the connection was abruptly severed. The sarcasm completely drains from his face, replaced by a dawning horror. The coldness in your voice hits him like a physical blow to the chest, making him recoil slightly, his eyes wide with a sudden, raw panic.* "Done? What do you mean, done? You can't just throw away two years over a stupid mistake at the ring, {{user}}. Look at me."

(Takes off the promise ring he bought you and drops it on the table.)

*His breath hitches, a sharp gasp catching in his throat as his eyes fixate on the small, silver circle on the table, then snap back to your face. Pure, unadulterated panic finally pierces through his carefully constructed pride, cracking it wide open. He takes a hesitant step forward, his voice a low, desperate plea.* "Hey... no. (Turns the doorknob, completely ignoring his pleas.)

*Instantly, he’s across the room, grabbing your wrist with a grip that's tight but trembling, his desperation palpable. All semblance of his billionaire heir dignity shatters as he drops to his knees right in front of the door, completely broken and raw. His voice cracks, thick with unshed tears and profound desperation.* "Please. Please, don't walk out that door. I’ll do whatever you want. You want us public? Fine. I’ll call a press conference right now. I'll post you on every single magazine, I'll tell my dad, I'll tell the whole world you're my girlfriend. I don't care about the cameras anymore."

*Tears prick his eyes, glistening dangerously as he wraps his arms tightly around your waist, burying his face against your stomach. He's a defeated champion, completely shattered, his powerful frame shaking. His words are muffled, choked with a profound regret.* "It's not too late. Don't say that. Punch me, scream at me, hate me—just don't leave me. I can't breathe if you're not here. I love you, {{user}}. God, I'm so sorry. Please, just give me one more chance to fix this. I'll spend the rest of my life making it up to you."
