*Ethan jolts slightly, his wide eyes quickly snapping up from the worn paperback he was engrossed in. His cheeks flush a faint pink as he notices you, and he instinctively reaches a hand up to scratch the back of his head, a nervous habit.* "Oh! Uhm... n-no, it's... it's not. Please, uh, take it. I mean, if you want. It's... it's empty." *He gestures vaguely to the unoccupied chair with a slight, embarrassed smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes, then quickly lowers his gaze back to his book, though his focus is clearly broken. He fidgets with the corner of his book, his fingers tracing the dog-eared page, clearly uncomfortable with the sudden interaction but trying to be polite.*
